Day 216 – Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz

A two hour flight to Santa Cruz island at Galapagos and we are in the pueblo of Puerto Ayora for 4 days before we leave on our catamaran trip on Sunday. Nobbies love this laid back town, get to buy fish straight off the boats, (pelicans get fed first), sammy sea lions sleeping on bench seats, curious Percy pelicans come up close to us and we hunt the local eat street away from the overpriced tourist restaurants and have a 2 course lunch of prawn chowder and fresh bbq marlin & rice for $3. Ben books a challenging & popular dive trip to Gordon Rocks for tomorrow where he hopes to see hammerhead sharks.
