Day 197am – Inka ruins at Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo holds significance in the Inka history being the royal estate for the Emperor Pachacuti and lodgings for his nobles. Also in 1536 Manu Inca defeated the Spanish. The panoramic view from the top of the ruins overlooking Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley is muy bonito! Spent the morning here practically having the place to ourselves before the tour buses invasion every afternoon.
