Day 172 – Rough seas ahead Captain!

After a pure tranquil 24 hours on Isle de Sol, time to head back to the mainland. Large blue sunny skies but strong winds make for the roughest crossing Nobbies have endured in a long while. A lake with 8400 sq km water mixed with strong winds in a tiny boat using only one outboard surrounded by high swells & white caps makes us feel like a duck in the middle of the ocean. Glad the bearded man was on board as had no faith in our driver. Had to calm down a very anxious young Scottish girl but all good we made it. Am sure at times this is just a normal crossing for the locals.
