Day 147am – Sunrise at Salar de Uyuni

On the road by 5am to finally see a spectacular sunrise in sub zero temps on the Uyuni salt flats, the worlds largest at 10,500 sqm. Incredibly eerie seeing white as far as the eye can see. Afterwards we drive to Huasi Inca Island (fishes island) with large cacti growing on it in the middle of the salt flats. Breakfast and hot coffee at the island thaws our bodies whilst we wait for the sun to rise higher. This is a truly a wow day on our trip.
