Day 142 – Death Valle & Valle de Luna

An afternoon exploring Death Valley (behind us on top left) and then over to Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley) to watch a spectacular sunset light up a pink hue over the Andes with 11 snowcapped volcanoes across the horizon. The white in the foreground of the photos is salt. This is part of the Atacama desert, the driest desert on earth.
