Day 215 – En route to Ecuador

Every so often a travelling day can whip out a challenge to get from one place to the next. That day was today. Some days are like the Amazing Race tv show and after 7 months of bus travel we still are met with surprises. Nearly miss our bus this morning because the bus turns out to be a mini van instead to take us to a town 2 hours away for connecting bus to Ecuador. Phew that’s ok. Then a 2 hour wait on the border as the immigration computers are down. Then Ben forgets to throw away coca leaves away at border and bus luggage space is checked by border control…phew that’s ok. Finally at hostel after a long 10 hours. Ecuador = muchas bananas!!
