Day 176 – All aboard to Cusco

Nobbies break the budget for their birthdays and travel in luxury for the first time by train (jointly owned by Peru Rail and Orient Express) from Puno to Cusco. A spectacular 10 hour day trip through the Andean mountains reaching 4000m and the valleys of the Huatanay River. Met a fab guy from Tassie called Brian. Breakfast, pisco sours at 10am, 3 course lunch with wine and afternoon tea along with on board entertainment. Great value for $153usd each. If only we could win lotto and travel like this always…ho hum back to reality.
