Day 95 – A surreal day in Curitiba

There’s always a weird day while travelling and today was one of those days. Early 7am flight from Iguasu Falls to Curitiba as a one night stopover to the Brazilian coast. Not a great deal to do in this sprawling urban city of 2 million people when passing through and too early for our hostel room. So spent the day on a open top tourist bus dodging low power cables going round in circles on a boring 44km route. Jumped off the bus when we saw this interesting museum only to find the most surreal exhibits including one with a room full of pictures like the one below by an artist with a surname Schwanke. This pretty much summed up our day and we’re still laughing.
