Day 47 – Trek day 3 – French Valley

Day 3 of our Torres Del Paine trek, the French Valley. The perfect day (with no wind) to trek this stunning V-valley of hanging glaciers, waterfalls and snow capped peaked mountains. Long day of 20km return and a steep 1 hour ascent up boulders to get to the most spectacular 360 degree view. Witnessed an impressive avalanche on the way up cascading for 10 minutes. Worth every ache and rewarded ourselves with a cerveza at the end.
