Day 221 – San Cristobal

2nd day of our trip and we sail to San Cristobal, the largest island. Visit Los Tintoreras a small lava rock island filled with hundreds of marine iguanas the same colour as the black lava rock. You have to double check you don’t walk on them as they ain’t going to move. This is where the juvenile iguanas hang out and a nursery inlet for white tip reef sharks. More snorkelling sighting a few graceful giant turtles and colourful fish. Water is cold so thank goodness for wetsuits. How many photos can one take of marine iguanas and still 6 more days to go. Hard day at the office!
