Day 197pm – Maras Salt Pans & Moray

Nobbies explore more of the Sacred valley in the afternoon. First the Maras salt pans, in use since the Inka times. A entire valley terraced into salt evaporation ponds. Afterwards visited Moray 3500m high. Unusual Inka ruins terraced in a perfect circle about 30m deep. They think this may have been an agriculture experiment given the various degrees in temperatures for crops. Had fun with the camera playing with patterns. Clocking up to 15,000 photos each in 6 months…need to cull.
