Day 192 – Day 1 on Inca Jungle Trail

Early start for the Nobbies embarking on the Inka Jungle Trail. Day 1 bike from about snow capped 4000m to lush green jungle of 1100m. Sounds easy but the weather closed in at the top bringing icy rain, sleet & fog. Not the best conditions to ride a bike in. After an hour it got all to much & the support van drove 2/3rds of the group further down the road under the cloud. Another 2 hours of riding down the green valley in warm clearer conditions was magical.
