Day 166am – Searching for Anacondas

A challenging morning for the Nobbies -sweating it out in high humidity, trudging through long savanna grasses and up to our knees in swampy mud searching for the mighty anaconda snake. No gumboots fitted Ben so he had no choice but to trek through the swamp with mere hiking shoes. No luck with the snakes but did get to experience caiman lurking far too close to us under the lilly pads. Only at this moment of time did I contemplate a switch back to our old lifestyle!
